Lingfield Steam & Country Show 2/3rd August 2014

Last year I went to this show as a spectator and quite enjoyed it, so this year I went again but it was not as good as last year.

Every section was down on numbers, only 8 tractor and around a dozen military vehicles. The only section that was bigger was miniature steam, according to the PA around 60 in number, no large steamers, the car section was less in numbers, stationary engines about the same, collections in awnings about the same, trade stalls were quite good and some catering. Don’t know if I shall go next year if it does not improve, we shall see.
