Cranleigh Lions Classic Car Show 17th August 2014

We have been exhibiting at the Cranleigh Classic Car show for the past few years. This year I entered the club as one of the many clubs that exhibit there.

We were allocated a maximum of 20 tickets, so I printed of the tickets and gave them to the club members who wanted to come. The day arrived and I got to the site by 8am, when I arrived there was a few stakes and a rope around the area where we were last year.  As I took these down and started to put up our pins and ropes, a man came up and asked where was his pins and rope were that he had set up the previous day!!

Our members then turned up and set up, the classic vehicles came past us to their club areas. We had a good number of public coming past all day and apart from a short sharp shower around early afternoon it was a good day but as soon as 4pm came the cars started to leave and as the public drifted off we packed up and went home.
