To Paint or Not to Paint

A subject thst often comes up these days is whether to paint or not!  If you have an engine or some other item be it a mill or pump, the first question may be `do I just mechanically restore and give  it the oily rag treatment’, or `do I paint it and make it look like new’? This question often sparks off interesting debates.

To me, each has its rightful place in our hobby and I will kick this debate off by saying`I have a foot in both camps’.  Other than that, I will not say anymore until I have heard from you as to your opinion!  But let’s all remember this is a hobby.
