Seams Club Night at Faygate
On the 17th of March , at the SEAMS club night at Faygate Village hall, we were again treated by Peter Hill. Many of you will recall that previously Peter had made us very welcome when we visited west Blatchington wind mill and last year on another SEAMS night, where he gave us a talk on the very same subject. This time, Peter’s subject for his talk was “ pills , potions and patients”. Peter gave us a slide show, which accompanied his talk. This was a very informative evening but carried many entertaining moments that brought laughter throughout the house.
Peter was able to give us all an insight into the early days of pharmacy and how it played such a big part in his family’s history. All our thanks go to Peter for an excellent evening which followed our normal format being split in two halves with a break in the middle for cake and coffee. So to all our members, we will have more interesting speakers for our next winter meeting season so hope to see you all there supporting your club, especially for coffee and cake and catching up with old friends.
