SEAMS Bring and Buy 20th March

The bi-annual SEAMS Bring and Buy was held at Hassocks Garden Centre in March.

John Peters knows the owners of the garden centre and was instrumental  in organising it with them. This event was well attended with about 7-8 stalls all with their wares (some would say trash..) set out that we all like looking through. Ian and I set up the ropes and were very pleased to see that some members had also brought engines along to run.  Again I think this totalled about 8.

A big thank you to all that turned out to sell and to those bringing engines to run. It was quite a windy day making it a bit chilly. A tradition for some is to break off and go for a full English breakfast at about 10am to set you up for the day. I must admit I did participate but did not need much persuading.

We will do it all over again once we build up surplus parts or have a sort out of those bit and bobs that we have kept for so long and wondered why.
