Leigh Flower Show and Fete 18th July 2015

I have not been to this show before as it has always clashed with other shows, so after making a couple of phone calls I was in. I arrived on site to find that most of the other members had arrived.

The area for the engines was a bit tight but was soon unloaded and kettle on. The main fete side of the show was spread out around the field with all sorts of stalls. In the far corner was the bar and catering and also some plant stalls etc. In front of the engines was some roped area which stayed empty apart from a couple of classic cars. A little later three old lorries turned up but the area in front of us stayed empty until early pm about 30 classic cars arrived and parked up. A good little show and hope to get there next year.
