Cranleigh Classic Vehicle Show August 14th 2016

This show is billed as one of the largest one day shows in the south of England.The number of entries this year was closed at around 1700 exhibits.

SEAMS put on a good display of stationary engines which attracted a good number of visitors. For the most part, the show is about the cars and their clubs with almost every type or make of car you can think of. With the cars, a good display of motorcycles, tractors, some commercials and military vehicles.

The usual large number of auto-jumble stalls seemed to be doing well, although I didn’t find anything that stood out to buy I did find in the antique section another enamel sign to add to my collection.

The food stalls did a good trade as did the small fairground in keeping the younger ones happy. The date for next year is published as 13th August 2017 so make a note and contact me if you want to exhibit an engine or two.
