Horsham Historics
At a loose end over the weekend, I took my old MG to the Horsham Historics event at Gatwick Aviation Museum on the 12th June.Stationary engines were shown by Keith and Vanessa West who took their collection of small gas and hot air engines.
The weather was pretty similar to Ian down at Buckingham Park, but as I had taken the car out before the rain started, I decided to go anyway. Fortunately the afternoon (and the trip home) was dry.
The show was reasonably busy with visitors coming to see the aircraft and with a fair number of jumble and other stalls. Quite a few Vintage and Classic cars and bikes to see and plenty of shelter (and hot coffee) in the hanger when it was really wet. Not a bad start for a first event and I hope this event grows to support both HH and the Museum.
