Staplefield May 2017

This show we have been exhibiting at for a good number of years and this year was another good show, I visited the Cuckoo rally on the Saturday of that weekend and met up with a few friends, then on Sunday we met down at Staplefield to erect the engine pen and help with the erecting of the fence that they put around the show field. We finished that and then we had the calling again and went over the road for another meal. I arrived about 8.30 on the Monday of the show day and soon we had cars arriving. Our engine pen filled up and more cars poured in all morning. The fete side of the show stated at midday and a large number of public turned up. As well as the cars there was a few commercials and motorbikes, we had a little bit of light rain in the morning but eventually cleared up, a very good event.
