Lingfield Steam and Vintage Show August 3rd and 4th 2013

I decided to pay this show a visit as I had not been to the show for a number of years although I have exhibited there in the past.  The show is held at Blindley Heath and I went on the Saturday.

The layout had changed from the last time I saw it. From the public entrance we went straight into the Autojumble and trade stalls, some very good stalls that I had not seen before although not a lot took my eye to buy.

These stalls led onto the exhibits area, motorbikes first, around 25 on show, then military and commercials, again some very interesting exhibits not seen further south and the steam, well only 2 large engines but about 35 to 40 small steamers.

The cars were up the top of the field, again a good number and the stationary engines were off to one corner of one field with around 25 in all but only a few interesting ones. I spent 4 hours looking around and catching up with friends, not a show I could spend a weekend at but quite good.
