David Edgington MBE

I expect most if not all of you have heard the sad news about the passing of  David Edgington MBE. David was the founder of the  Stationary Engine Magazine. I don’t think there is a  Lister owner who has not at some time been helped by David, who with Doreen, have given freely of their time over many decades to further the preservation of stationary engines and record our engineering heritage.

David’s books on the subject are a must have for any enthusiast and I’m sure they will continue to be for many years to come. As soon as we heard it was acceptable to do so, your committee sent condolences to Doreen on behalf of SEAMS,  your Committee and all our club members.
