Cranleigh Classic Car Show 18th August 2013

This show is organised by the Lions and for the last few years, Ian Sampson has been asked to provide a few engines. You need to be there early before the cars arrive as there can be quite a queue to get in.

Previously we have been by the entrance but this year we found ourselves moved to the far side of the field! Oh dear no public. In fact this new position proved just as good with the added bonus that we were sheltered by the tree lined hedge and on the main drive in for all the classic cars so we got to see the whole show in front of us.

There was a good line of engines with a few new faces this year, mostly SEAMS members. Jon Foster, Graham Barnett and Steve Mills were on one end with Ian & Philip Sampson and yours truly the other and many others in between. However there is plenty of space so if you fancy coming along next year, give Ian a ring.
