Buckingham Park June 2016

Well,  the days are a lot longer and some smaller rally events have come and gone with  some big ones still to happen, the first big event  for me is Wiston. We are still looking for new committee members and someone to take over the newsletter, if we can’t get a person to take over this task the newsletter will not appear next year so put on your thinking caps. As I have said before keep an eye on rally closing dates as some shows will not take late entries

Buckingham Park 12 June, our club has been exhibiting engines at this event for the past few years, this year we had 8 engines on display.  For the first few hours it was light rain and drizzle but as the saying goes rain before 7 fine by 11 which is what happened, we were in a different position this year but we still had a good number of public viewing us, the car section was down a bit due to the weather, but a good display of Mini Mokes and about twenty or so other classic cars including a few American cars and pick ups and a few motorcycles. The stalls around the site were mainly charity and in the arena they had donkey racing and marching bands plus other displays, a good show and we will be back next year
