25/6/7th August Rudgwick Steam and Country Show

This show has always been one of my favourites.

I arrived early morning on the Thursday before the show to set up the caravan and look at the area we have to make sure we can get all the members in. It was not to long later that morning that a few more members turned up, during the next day all were sited.

The show is always very enjoyable and friendly, we had some bad weather before the show, and there were showers on Thursday and Friday but apart from a light shower early on Saturday we got a fine weekend.

Our display always creates a lot of interest with most of us displaying engine driving machinery, there was a good display of other vehicles scattered around the fields with tractor ploughing in the lower field.  There was a lot of arena events and on Saturday we had the Vulcan fly right over the field which made people stop and stare at the great plane, we will be back next year.
